GLL Safety Guidelines for Phase 2

Ok, so today we are trying to make this your "one stop source" for what to expect during the time we are playing games during Phase 2. We do not know what Phase 3 will bring but hopefully it will bring some loosening of restrictions on what we can and cannot do during games.
Below are some of the safety guidelines that will be in place for the time being. We are very excited to begin playing games but we are most excited about being able to play games in as safe a manner as possible. We hope that by all of us cooperating and following these guidelines we will have a safe, fun, competitive, and meaningful Greenville Little League season. Our players are the most important factor in all of this. If we, as adults, can do our best to make these guidelines work then all of us with GLL are confident we will have a great season.
So here goes:
  1. No more than 25 spectators allowed in a venue; (Gates will open 45 minutes prior to game time.)per Governor's Executive Order (passes have been issued to the team moms so that they may distribute them to the individual player's families.
a. Venue defined by fencing installed by Greenville
Recreation & Parks Department (GRPD).
b. Other individuals must remain in vehicles. It is
very much preferred that other individuals who are
supporting a particular player stay off park
property and watch the game on our live streams.

2) If your game is being played immediately after
another game please do not leave the location
where your team is taking BP at until the game
before your team's game has went final. Simply
have somebody follow the game on Game Changer
and when the game goes final pack up and head to
the park.

3.) When your team's game is over there will be NO
POST GAME HANDSHAKES and NO POST GAME
MEETINGS. Simply pack up and go outside the
venue so that the other teams can make their way
in. Spectators will also be asked to leave
immediately. We will not let people in for the next
game until the venue has been cleared from the
previous game. ALSO DURING THIS TIME WE
DO NOT WANT PEOPLE "CONGREGATING"
NEAR THE GATE AREA. Please wait for the
spectators from the previous game to exit the venue
before presenting your pass to the gatekeeper.

4. It is expected that Social Distancing will be observed
by spectators.

5. Only 3 players at a time allowed in dugouts. Others
must remain in bullpens. Teams may provide their
own tents in the bullpens to shelter the players from
the sun.
6. Hand sanitizer will be placed in the dugouts and
other appropriate places in the venue.

7. No water coolers or team coolers. This means that
each player must bring their own "Thermos" with ice
water in it. If a player forgets their "Thermos" or
runs out of water we will have bottles of water on
hand for the player. It will help immensely though if
the player remembers their "Thermos" each time he
comes to a game.

8. Concession stands will not be open. Spectators are
encouraged to bring their own food and drink.
