***Fall Baseball Update***
We have registered 156 fall baseball players for the 2020 season. We have 12 teams of players who we hope are ready for a great fall baseball season.
Practices will begin for each team right after Labor Day at the Perkins Complex and Guy Smith. The team managers have been asked to reach out to their players by no later than Friday, September 4 letting each player know when the first practice is.
Games will begin the week of September 14.
While Governor Cooper has loosened restrictions a bit as our state has moved in to Phase 2.5 please keep up the good habits that have gotten us to where we are. Encourage your player to practice social distancing as much as possible. Parents, we also hope that you will do your best to social distance while at the ballpark. Encourage your player to wash his/her hands as frequently as possible (or utilize hand sanitizer)., Remind you player to not share equipment.with other players. These are just a few of the good habits we ask our players and coaches to utilize this fall
With Governor Cooper's announcement yesterday we are grateful to the City of Greenville for allowing 50 spectators per field for our games. This is great for our fall program and we cannot wait to see our youngsters get the support they deserve from the bleachers. Once again, thank you to the City of Greenville for allowing our gathering limit to go up to 50.
The fall game schedule will be out by the middle of next week.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST WE WILL HAVE CONCESSIONS!!! We know all of you have saved a lot of dimes and nickels by us not having concessions this summer so we hope to get deep in to your pockets this fall season.Start digging through the cushions in the sofa and find some change so you can spend some money with us. WE ARE BEYOND EXCITED TO SERVE YOU THIS FALL!!!
I hope this update helps and we can't wait to see you at the ballpark!!!
