All players who register will be placed on either a major or minor league team. Registration fee due at the time of registration is $100. (Cash, check, or money order are only forms of payment we can accept.  We are not equipped to accept credit or debit cards.)  An additional fee of $25 will be assessed to the parents of each player who is on a major league team.  This fee will be collected by the team mom (FEE COLLECTED BY TEAM MOM FROM RETURNING PLAYERS = $125: FEE COLLECTED BY TEAM MOM FROM NEW PLAYERS = $25)  and turned over to GLL once practices begin.  Minor League players will NOT be assessed this $25 fee.

The following option for establishing eligibility is generally used for players who reside in Pitt County. For players using their parents place of residence (located within the boundaries served by Greenville Little League) to establish eligibility the parent or guardian must present PROOF OF RESIDENCY at registration.  A driver license, utility bill, or homeowner/tenant record with your CURRENT ADDRESS are the most frequently used forms of proof to prove residency.  All proof of residency documentations shall be in force between February 1, 2023 and February 1, 2024.
  
The following option for establishing eligibility is generally used for players who reside outside of Pitt County but attend school in Pitt County.  Players who attend a school within Greenville Little League's boundaries must have been enrolled prior to October of 2023 to use the school's address for eligibility purposes.. Types of schools excluded include the following:  home schools, cyber schools, sports-related schools, sports academies, or preschool or after school where a student participates outside of the primary school that
the student is enrolled in.  For players using their school's address (located within the boundaries served by Greenville Little League) to establish eligibility a Little League issued school attendance form completed by the principal, assistant principal or administrator must be presented at registration.  School Enrollment Form can be found by clicking on the link below:

Only a PARENT or GUARDIAN may register a player. The parent or guardian must bring the child's CERTIFIED BIRTH CERTIFICATE

 (no photocopies will be accepted). Also, please remember that "Mother's Copies" are NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Specific tryout times for each player will be made known at registration.  Tryouts will be held from March 6-10 at Elm Street Park.  The 2024 Major League Game Schedule can be found by clicking on "GAME SCHEDULES 2024" at the top of this page.  The 2024 Dick's Sporting Goods Minor League Schedule will be posted by mid April (once it has been determined how many Minor League teams that there will be).
